About

I am an amateur cross-country skier from northern Europe with a desk job and a garage full of wax. I started skiing seriously in my thirties, after years of running, and never really went back.
This site is a place to keep my notes: what worked, what did not, and what I would do differently. Nothing here is sponsored, and none of it is professional coaching. If something sounds wrong, it probably was a bad snow day.
I ski classic most of the time, skate when the tracks are icy, and spend far too long reading wax charts.
